Frequently Asked Questions

What type of boats do you buy?

  • We buy center consoles, bowriders, cruisers, sea-worthy wakeboards and bay boats. We prefer models that are 2010 or newer, but this is not a deal breaker depending on the make and model.

What should I do to prepare my boat?

  • Please remove all of your personal belonging, ensure all cushions/covers are with the boat and don’t forget the keys!

What if I have a lien on my boat?

  • If you have a lien/mortgage on your boat/trailer, please provide us with your bank’s information so we may promptly get your lien satisfied. The titles will be mailed to Longshore Boats.

Will Longshore Boats come pick up my boat?

  • Depending on the location of your boat and trailer availability, our team will pick it up per the next available service date.

When do I get paid for my boat?

  • Once the boat passes inspection, the final price is agreed upon and all the purchase/sales agreements have been signed, we will write you a check for you to pick up at our dealership.
