Longshore Boats is a Charleston, South Carolina-based boat dealership that has been in business for over 30 years and is operated by an award-winning team of professional boating enthusiasts.

Located on Clements Ferry, our facility houses boat displays, service areas and a retail shop all under one roof. Our Charleston, SC boat dealership is built for an affordable and quality-based, boat buying experience with a newly redesigned showroom and a service lot for large vessels.

Longshore Boats carries Robalo, Chaparral and EdgeWater Power Boats, along with Yamaha Outboards, Mercury Outboards, Volvo Penta and MerCruiser Stern Drive. Whether you are looking for a family boat, a water sports boat or an inshore fishing bay boat, we have a huge selection of new or pre-owned boats for sale as well as popular styles like bowriders, dual consoles, center consoles or walk arounds.   1. 1991

    Paul Kammerer and Drew Lanzettea stumbled upon a pre-existing boat repair shop known as Longshore Marine on the corner of Coleman Boulevard in Mount Pleasant and bought out the original owner.

  2. 1992

    Longshore Marine moved locations down Coleman Boulevard to house a larger retail section and promote their first boat line; Steiger Craft.

  3. 1993

    Tim Clark was hired to be in charge of retail and consignment boats.

  4. 1994

    Chris Meredith was hired to work in the boat yard.

  5. 1995

    Chris Meredith and Tim Clark became partners of the dealership, buying out Lanzettea. They all assumed their roles that they were fit and comfortable with; Kammerer as service manager, Clark as sales manager and Meredith as general manager.

  6. 1997

    The dealership became the first EdgeWater Power Boats dealer in South Carolina, while also becoming one of the first Mercury dealers.

  7. 2000

    With a powerhouse team, the dealership quickly outgrew its second location, prompting a move out to the deserted, but up-and-coming Clements Ferry Road off Daniel Island where the dealership remains today.

  8. 2001

    Longshore Boats was built from the ground up in order to create the owner's vision and was completed in July.

  9. 2009

    With expansion, came opportunity to add Chaparral Boats to their manufacture line up.

  10. 2011

    Robalo Boats was added to the dealership's manufacture boat lines.

  11. 2021

    After 25 years in business together, Paul Kammerer and Tim Clark retire making Chris Meredith the sole owner of Longshore Boats.
